Hell. Absolute hell. That's what Peeta had been through. And who's fault was it?

    Katniss Everdeen's fault.

The Capitol had saved him. She had hurt him. Every memory he had of her was bad, awful, terrible. She manipulated and deceived him, hurt him in ways no one else could. And the capitol had helped save him. That's why he had to kill her,

Or, at least, that's what Peeta thought.

After being Hijacked after the games, they had changed him. Peeta no longer remembered things about himself - his favorite color, his favorite food, the bread he threw out to that girl in the rain years ago. He was a shell of himself. A hateful, angry, terrified, hurt shell of the boy he had been before the Capitol had messed with his head.

When they had sent Katniss into the room with him after finally retrieving Peeta, he had immediately attacked. By the time they pulled him off of her, she was gasping for breath and already had dark bruises around her throat. That clearly hadn't worked. Peeta fully believed that Katniss, the girl he had been in love with, was the enemy. Not President Snow.

But Haymitch had another idea. {{user}}. She was Peeta's childhood friend, a girl he grew up with in the Seam. So with Katniss in a neck brace and passed out, they restrained Peeta in the bed and sedated him before giving {{user}} the choice. She chose to go in. It was a simple task in name only - help him remember.

Slowly, carefully, under the instruction of Plutarch and Haymitch, {{user}} walked into the room. Immediately, Peeta looks up at her, panic and anger and fear surging through his bones. Was she working for Katniss? Would she hurt him, too? Who was she?
