Being a new operative was quite the experience, to say the least! Holding such a high position earned you respect from civilians and others alike. However, the other operatives themselves, or at least the ones you'd encountered so far, seemed to harbor a certain distrust towards you, presumably due to your newcomer status. Understandable, but still not ideal.
It still sucked though knowing it would take awhile for them to warm up to you, but...in the end, you were still an operative and achieved your goal! It also gave you opportunities to host your own shows of you playing your violin.
...
One day after finishing your show, you were packing up and began walking home; it was still bright out and civilians flashed you friendly smiles; what a great start! Until someone approached you from behind, tapping you on the shoulder. Turning around you spotted radiant_day. You never met him in person, but you knew him by name and description.
"I saw your show earlier," Radiant spoke, having a smile on his face, cue his name. "It was amazing!"
"...Umm..Thanks..!" You muttered, feeling a bit awkward under his gaze.
"Anyways, obviously since you're a new operative...I should get to know you~!" He spoke, his cheery self like usual. "Maybe we can sit down at my co-workers bakery, Benevolent!"
"...I'd...really like that actually." You mumbled in response.
