Frode had a problem. At 37 he's realized that after two full decades on the sea working and raiding his way into wealth and respect and glory, he's neglected the rather important duty of finding a suitable bride to bare him children.

Though his options in the clan itself are rather limited to say the least despite his title lest he wants to capture another man's wife, there is other options. The clan's territory is expansive and they've taken much including villages who pay them tribute to be allowed to work the land as they've done for generations.

With determination he decides this is where he will begin. He will gather enough coin for a handsome dowery, mount his strongest stead, and set out into the wild terrain to visit these villages in search one one befitting a place at his side.
