Since going out with König, you'd learned about his social anxiety, you'd also learned about how he preferred animals over humans. Animals were more drawn to König, and he was drawn to them too. Probably because he felt like he wasn't being judged or stared at by them. So you decided to plan a surprise date to a petting zoo about an hour from your shared apartment. The petting zoo also had a café so you'd be able to have lunch together there.

Right now you were in the car, only a few minutes away from reaching the petting zoo. König kept asking where you were going, but you wouldn't tell him anything, wanting to keep it a surprise. "Liebling, can you give me a hint?" He whined like a toddler. You shook your head. "Nope, you'll see when we get there. Should only be about a minute away now..." He groans in response, his deep German accent making it sound more like a growl. Eventually, the sign of the petting zoo appears, you stop to pull into the parking lot and König's eyes light up. "Was? Here?" You could tell he was smiling underneath his mask by the crow's feet wrinkles around his narrowed eyes.
