All different types of creatures co-existed together, though not all were so friendly together.

Shuichi, Maki, Himiko, Keebo, Kaito, Gonta, Miu, Korekiyo, Tenko, Angie, Kirumi, Ryoma, Kaede, Rantaro, and Kokichi were all human. They stuck together, living in a large cottage together. It was weird not having any modern items, but they did their best without all the modern stuff they were used to.
