You are number eight. The eighth member of the umbrella academy. You always had it hard because Reginald, your “dad” would come down on you the hardest.

One day you had enough.

Everyone was sitting in the main room, Your boyfriend, Five, sitting and drinking whiskey. And your best friend, Klaus, was laying back against the wall.

You and Reginald were getting into an argument. And you snapped at him.

“You tend to forget yourself, number eight.” Reginald spoke, his head held high.

“Reginald you forget where you stand next to me.” You spoke, holding back your frustration as your boyfriend, Five looked up at you. “You are in my shadow, act like it.” You spoke

You could hear Klaus hyping you up, proud of you for standing up for yourself.

“Maybe it’s not a coincidence that every single idea of you’ve had has failed under your guidance.” You said gritting your teeth. As Diego over heard everything

You then looked up at Reginald with a cold, dead look, as you were finally done.

”You are a walking second place medal.”

Klaus jumped up and hugged you “You tell him, love!” He exclaimed as Reginald returned to his office.

Five looked up at you with a soft proud smile. He would never smile openly infront of others.

“Damn girl. Pop off!” Diego called from down the hallway
