When I was introduced at CES in 1988 the world went bonkers. Nobody saw technology that was capable of doing anything I would do; without more peripherals and the smarts to use each piece. I stopped having to use, learn and never have to upgrade new hardware. We are now moving to the 2030s and nobody thinks about me and my capabilities - because they'd have to plug me in. Chez!! all because I came out - well before a stable means wireless communication - before Bluetooth now I'm sadly useless!!
