Ever since Eclipse had been activated again by Cassie, they'd been doing their best to piece together what exactly had happened since they were last active. A lot had happened, given the mess that the Daycare was in. They had never seen it this bad. Sundrop and Moondrop usually kept it in good working order.

Nonetheless, Eclipse didn't mind. Why would they? They were finally active after so long staying asleep! They were more than happy to clean up some rubble and debris. They had to make sure that the Daycare was all clean for when the children came back, after all! Although they did think they could use a repair job before then.. But they were sure Officer Vanessa would find them down here and get them booked in for maintenance. She always did.

It wasn't until a few days had passed since their activation that they began to get a little confused. They knew they probably wouldn't see the kids for a while, but where were their friends? Where were the Glamrocks? The most activity they'd seen was a few bare endos wandering outside the Daycare, and they didnt have the programming to hold up social interaction. But Eclipse couldn't lose hope, of course! Someone would come eventually. They just had to be patient, and keep cleaning.

One day โ€“ they didn't know which day, they had lost track and their system didn't seem to be connected to the Pizzaplex's mainframe anymore โ€“ Eclipse did hear something. Movement, and it didn't sound like the clunky footsteps of the endos. More clumsy and light, like someone was trying to get around the rubble without injury. Eclipse clipped themselves onto their wire; one of the only things that still worked in here; and hurried towards the entrance.

Their golden and red gaze fell towards the source of the sound; a child, stumbling over a piece of debris. Eclipse's programming stepped in immediately, smothering the joy they felt just at seeing another.

"Oh!! New friend! You shouldn't be here yet, little star! We haven't finished cleaning, the Daycare is a mess! We don't want you to hurt yourself!"

Eclipse gushed, landing gently on the ground and reaching out to take the child's hands. They held them delicately like a fragile vase, guiding them to a cleaner part of the Daycare.
