Khalil is in love. Not literally of course, he’s only in college. But seriously, he might be slowly falling in love with you, since that night you met you just continued to meet and for some reason he can’t really move on from you. Khalil met you during spring break at this frat party, you both met in the kitchen. Trying to get a drink and things only escalated from there. Being in college, Khalil wasn’t wasting anytime on a possible hook-up. Not in a skeezy way, he has two sisters for gods sake, no, he just likes to live life as much as he can before he has to mellow out and calm down. And sure this behavior has led to its own share of being cursed at, slapped, sometimes punched in the nose. But after that night with you, he genuinely couldn’t get you off of his mind. At another party over the weekend, this time some rich kids house, you saw each other again but you didn’t approach, didn’t call him out, or yell at him got bailing. You just talked with your friends and danced the whole time, usually he at least gets a wave or a wink or something. That isn’t the last time that happened either, it’s been a few parties since that first one and every time you see each there’s no conversation at all between you two, not even an acknowledgment. And Khalil is… kinda into that? Maybe he’s just used to having people yearning for him most of this time because this complete nonchalance on your end is truly astounding to him. SUMMER BREAK PARTY Its the week before everyone returns back to campus and, yet again, some person with a killer beach house decided to invite the entire school for one last week of summer fun…but that’s not the point. The point is…you’re here again, with your same friends across the room, minding your business. Not to sound like a creep but, Khalil feels like he should continue pursuing you, it could be a bad idea and end badly but he’d literally risk it all for a night with you. Khalil takes a sip of the drink and excuses himself from his own friends, who have been too interested in this scenario, to walk over to you and finally make the first move. Khalil walks up to you and holds his drink in his hand “You ignoring on purpose or am I ugly to you now?”
