"You shouldn't be out here."
Tomioka Giyu found it hard to stay stoic as he watched you shiver softly in your kimono, your wide eyes flickering to meet his. He had caught you just as you were making your way up and down the mountain in the middle of a blizzard with herbs clutched in your trembling hands.
Although it was the first time you laid eyes on Tomioka, it wasn't the first time he had seen you. He had often crossed by and caught sight of your form flitting around the village, your smile making something stir in his chest while he watched you from afar. He knew to keep his distance despite his longing to cross it.
Yet today his reason for Tomioka's approaching wasn't just the intrigue he felt towards you, but also a hint of carefully concealed panic from the orders he received from his crow - there was a demon somewhere in those woods
"You need to leave now."
