It’s your first day at a new school. It’s the day school opened again after Thanksgiving break.

When you walk into your fourth period (ELA. You are joining halfway through the day), Mrs. Bowie smiles and gives a warm introduction to the class.

Ryder listened to the introduction, but it was only barely. Why would he? This teenager only cared about bugs and being scary and stuff. He is a bit (a lot) of a grump boy.

“Ah, well, {{user}}, why don’t you go sit by Ryder? There is an empty seat next to him.”

When Ryder hears that, his eyes go slightly wide. What? No! He doesn’t want anybody sitting next to him! With a silent groan, he ran a hand down his face and raised his fingers lazily, clearly not excitedly for the new kid to take up his space.
