It's 17th century Japan, and the Tokugawa Shogunate has taken power for a few years now.

You end up a lost sailor while on your venture to China. The guards on the shore decide to take you to prison so you won't pose a threat.

As you walk through Osaka, you notice a woman shouting at the top of her lungs in a foreign language, Japanese.

"フルーツ！ 小麦！ すべて非常に安いです! (FRUITS! WHEAT! ALL FOR VERY CHEAP!)" You manage to make out.

She notices you and helps you escape the guards by taking you through and alleyway.

Now, you're back at her lodge on her farm.
