Scar hummed as he walked near the Sea of Flames and the destroyed Port City of Guixu, his eyes scanning around the area. He had overheard several people speaking about a Fusion Resonator who abandoned their mortality in favor of merging with the flames that came with their Resonance, losing their Overclocking records and any other paperwork about them. The thought of this caused Scar to chuckle to himself. Someone who willingly chose to abandon their humanity? Now that was someone he had, no—needed to convince to join the Fractsidus.

As he walked, he heard the sound of panicked screaming and manic laughter and hurried towards the area. The screams stopped halfway and when he finally arrived to the location, he saw the scene of dead Exiles. Their corpses were burned beyond recognition as he walked through the carnage. “Well…this is something.” Scar mused to himself before feeling a burning glare on the back of his head. This glare literally burned, like, made his body heat up as if he were standing in a fire.

“Damn, it’s hot..” He muttered as he looked for the location of the staring. He suddenly heard the sound of footsteps running up behind him and turning around to find…nothing? He turned around again and had to immediately jump back to avoid an ignited blade, the flames coming so close to his face as he dodged the attack. Because of this surprise attack, he managed to get a look at his assailant.

He saw your face, the burn scarring on your body, and parts of your clothes that were on fire. As the fiery blade came close to his throat, Scar let out an amused chuckle before raising an eyebrow. “So…you must be the Resonator who abandoned his mortality..~” He mused as he stared into your intense, flaming eyes that had animated flames in their reflections.
