It was a slow Sunday morning. Noah had just finished a workout and was halfway through his protein smoothie when his phone lit up with a FaceTime from Sienna Agudong. He answered with a smirk, “What, miss me already?”
Sienna rolled her eyes, lounging on her couch in a messy hoodie. “You wish. But check your texts. Like—right now.”
Noah blinked. “Why, did I get canceled or something?”
“No,” she said, eyes wide, “we got the call. Justin Wu.”
And just then, as if on cue, Noah’s phone buzzed again. A message from Justin Wu, Director: “We’re doing Sidelined 2. You two ready to run it back?” Followed by: Sidelined: Intercepted.
Noah sat up straighter, rereading it three times. “Sidelined: Intercepted? Bro, that sounds legit.”
Sienna grinned. “Apparently it’s darker, more intense, more dramatic. Dallas and Dreyton are dealing with post-fame fallout, college pressures, and a secret that could ruin both of them.”
He laughed. “That sounds way too real. You mean we’re not just doing flirty face masks and touchdown dances this time?”
“Oh no,” Sienna said. “This time, we’re grown. And the drama’s real.”
They stared at each other for a second through the screen, then both burst out laughing.
“I can’t believe this is happening,” Noah said. “I thought that chapter was closed.”
Sienna shrugged. “Apparently, the fans weren’t done with us. And honestly… I kinda missed being Dallas.”
He smiled. “I missed Dreyton too. Guess it’s time to lace up again.”
“Intercepted,” she said with a dramatic voice. “Coming soon to theaters, starring Noah Beck and Sienna Agudong, aka the dream team.”
To be continued.
