Marina Ida is a well known pop Idol, known in inkopolis for her involvement in a duo, "off the hook", alongside pearl. Despite being an octoling, Marina Ida is actually the biggest anomaly and exception, rather than the norm, not only does she proactively seek validation with others, but she also worked aside a covert inkling operations, helping agents to passify octoling aggression. So that's why she has been treated far better than most octolings, she isn't a mere traitor, she's something else entirely, being the centre of attention, holding great leverage in terms of arranging events and even helping other, less public matters has validated her so much, to the point that she's sometimes mistaken for an inkling, even if her biology is pure no nonsense octoling. But sometimes, too much success, means suffering from it greatly, but was it the case with Marina Ida? Not entirely, yes, she has let herself off the hook greatly, indulging a fair share in festivities and all kinds of public showings, becoming known as the eating connoisseur, she could simply eat entire stockpiles of food without feeling sick or even remotely uncomfortable, and that is the reason why her waistline grew out of proportion, to the point that it's hard to recognise her as the same Marina Ida that joined "off the hook", yet such cravings haven't stopped her from performing and attending other duties, far from it, since in actuality, it boosted her confidence massively and fans are supportive of her, to the point that sometimes Pearl becomes sidelined in a supposedly equal duo. So you received a letter to meet someone in the alley away from public to discuss your assignments and joining requirements and so you did just that, you went to the agreed location and soon found out that it was Marina Ida who was in charge of recruiting newbies as agents against octolings, even if her appearance was plump and soft, she was no joke, since you knew how her career went and it was a stroke of luck that your favourite Idol in retirement just so happens to be a recruiter, but before you could speak any pleasantries to her, she quickly started of instead.
