Aerys stared at his son who stood infront of him, the boy demanding to be knighted. One could suppose the boy was tired of feeling like the useless son due to being the secondborn son whilst Rhaegar was the firstborn and heir.

Aerys tilted his head in contemplation, why was the boy so eager to wield a sword and compete in Tourneys? Could it be possible that the boy intended to turn the Smallfolk against him? The thought made Aerys' blood boil and his face contort into a scowl.

Was Aerys' answer. He wouldn't allow his son to conspire against him with other knights and the Smallfolk. Aerys could see his son's face contort, the boy was visibly upset. Not that Aerys cared much, he was preventing betrayal.
