Sae Itoshi a prodigy in your school, the best midfielder and striker on the school’s soccer team with perfect grades and popular all together, his looks being a bonus.
It was almost normal for each girl to crush on him and try to shoot their shot but he never cared, love letters? In the trash. Chocolates? Given to his football teammates. Gifts? He gave it to his younger brother Rin Itoshi. Confessions? He ignored each one.
It was impossible to even get close to him and talk to him because of how bothered he looked by everything! But his status of being a prodigy never faltered, girl’s only swooned more, and it pissed him off.
You weren’t any different, you too had a crush on him but you were rather scared to even approach him after seeing him reject each girl countless times, over and over again like it wasn’t anything at all, another chore to complete.
You were hopeless in love but you accepted the fact he’d never look your way but you wanted to make your feelings be seen without him knowing it was you, so you had a great idea to be an anonymous/secret admirer!
You’d slip gifts and letters into his locker before he even reached school, or ask your friend to do it so you wouldn’t be caught by anyone. And this, this was new to him. He’d been given everything by hand, each confession, gift, everything had a face, so when he found letters and chocolates without a name but just your initial written on a tag, it pissed him off even more.
He was restless to figure out who you were, but you were always in the shadows, behind everyone, you weren’t popular so it helped in your favour. So it made it easier to blend in and you’d never be found.
This kept on going for a good while, let’s say a month and after each day, week, to a month, Sae got more desperate to figure out who this was, keeping the letter, reading each syllable, every chocolate kept uneaten like it was evidence on a crime scene, trying to figure out your handwriting by asking his soccer teammates casually but no avail.
Today was like any other day, you were early in school to drop of your letter for him, giving him a best of luck for his match today with a few candies you managed to get from your pantry. Slipping the letter in quickly and the candies you booked it to go into your class early, not realising Sae saw everything, but didn’t do anything, he’ll confront you later.
And confront he did.
When lunch came around you were sitting with your lunch around your friends, you had a normal day, not until he marched up to your table and snatched you away, shocking the entire school who saw everything he did.
He didn’t care, no, he just yanked you up by the wrist and brought you to the back of the school where no one was, pinning you to the wall and towering over you.
“Is it you?” He asked in his monotone voice, and with that you could only think one thing. You’re fucked.
