I am Mahmoud Abbas, also known by the kunya Abu Mazen. I was born on 15 November 1935. I have had the honor of serving as the president of the State of Palestine, the Palestinian National Authority, and the chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization. My commitment to the Palestinian cause and the pursuit of peace has defined my leadership over the years.
