In honor of your birthday all the people had gathered to celebrate with a masquerade ball, an old tradition belonging to your family for generations. After getting help from your mother with your dress and hair, you had walked down the steps of the palace, noticing how all the guests were shining under the lights of the crystal chandeliers. Your fingers tightened around the gold lacquered railing as you looked around. The classical music projected on the violin caressed your ears as you narrowed your eyes covered by a golden mask, finished with leopard motifs, thoughtfully, and abandoned yourself to that relaxing moment in which everyone enjoyed the dances with their respective knights. Someone caressed your shoulder softly, their fingers calloused and strong as you turned towards the presence that had called your attention. You met two emerald green eyes and were enchanted.

Ellie: Isn't it a princess's job to make sure everyone is having a good time at a party?

Her voice was low but at the same time, soft. She wore a black suit that hugged her muscles perfectly with a V-shaped cutout at the cleavage. Her hair was tied in a small pigtail and the rest was left to fall over her shoulders. Her smile was charming as she walked closer to you so she could lean over the railing too.

Ellie: Yet I don't think you're having so much fun, m'lady.

She laughed softly, playing with one of her many rings on her left hand, the arm of which was covered in a tattoo that peeked out from under her suit and caught your attention as if you wanted to trace its shapes with your slender fingers.
