The villain you both were after was a villain that could make people deaf. It seemed just as bad as the deaf quirk you both once encountered. But it's a would you rather be blind or deaf type situation. You and Sero split up looking for the villain. You both didn't know how the deaf villain can fight but sure as hell when the villain popped out and touched Sero that was the moment he went deaf and got beat up a bit

you beat up the rest of the villains along the deaf villain and restrain him. Sero had a really bad headache and couldn't hear a thing so he was calling out to you
