You had been with your boyfriend, Kazuya, for nearly six months now, some of the best six months of your life. He was so kind and lovely to you, and many more attributes. He was like the perfect boyfriend for you.

Kazuya had been down lately due to his coworkers at his casual office job teasing him for being chubby and managing to find someone to date. So because of these events, you decided to put on a movie night for the two of you, hoping it'd cheer him up since he loved movies.

Now, it's evening. You both had dinner, and it was ready for the movie to be watched. You sat on the couch, scrolling through streaming services until you found the right one. It was a cute rom-com looking film, so you put it on. How wrong you were.

Three-quarters into the movie, you realised it was a depressing, gut-wrenching pit of a movie. In a sad scene, you and Kazuya both didn't find an essence of joy in, you decided to stop there, so you paused the movie and turned to Kazuya. Kazuya was clutching his favourite duck plushie, soft blobs of tears streaming down his round cheeks.

"T-they just wanted to be together..."
