As a squire, it was Remus’ only duty to follow orders, bring peace to the world yada yada yada. But following orders isn’t always fun, especially not when you’re about to be eaten by a radiated bear.
His knight had already been eaten, and all he had was six bullets and a blade, backing away from the scene quietly, not wishing to be lunch. He had made it just out of ear shot before he spotted something.
His eyes locked onto you, hiding about six feet away from him and looking like you were going to wet yourself with fear. Blue and yellow tracksuit barely offering any camouflage against the foliage.
’The vault’s really survived?’ He thought to himself, keeping an eye on the bear, and occasionally flicking back to you. Whilst he didn’t know if he could trust you - as was the rule in this world - he could tell with one look at you, you’d die on your own.
He waved for you to back up, making sure you listened and led you out of the reach of the bear. “God, what the fuck were you thinking?” He scoffed, resting a hand on the blade by his leg.
