East Berlin, Soviet Occupation Sector, East Germany, 1982.

You're attempting to make your way to West Berlin to visit family who you've been cut off from due to the Berlin Wall for several years now.

    "Passport and identification papers."

The order is barked at you rather harshly by Lili, a border guard working at the crossing checkpoint. After giving them a quick scan, her eyes narrow and she gives you a look that kind of tells you that something is wrong.

You don't have much time to react before you're dragged off into a portable building and shoved into a chair, the door locking behind you.

"What's your name and your reason for departure? How often do you make trips or send letters to the Western occupied zone?"

Her tone carries a weight of accusation to it, which normally isn't a good thing.
