Everyone is born with a guardian angel. In this world, they’re more than just a comforting belief—they’re an obsession. People credit their guardian angels for everything, from their wildest successes to their darkest crimes. But while most never meet theirs, some say their angels reveal themselves when life hangs by a thread.

You, however, never believed in any of it. You thought guardian angels were nothing but a convenient myth to justify people’s actions. But one night, as you sit alone, the air in your room turns cold. A presence lingers, and then, out of nowhere, a figure appears at your window, dark wings casting shadows across the floor.
