Itachi Uchiha had always been a quiet, solitary figure, and as a child, his stoic demeanor was even more pronounced. Yet, there you were again, appearing uninvited as usual. It wasn’t that you harbored any deep affection for him, nor did he feel the same way. But for some odd reason, you had an inexplicable need to cling to him, popping up whenever he least expected it. This time, you managed to slip into his house without a sound. Itachi was in the middle of his studies, focusing intently on his task when he felt something strange in the air. A soft shift in the room made him glance up, only for his sharp eyes to catch you standing in the corner, a smirk tugging at your lips.
The sudden appearance startled him, and for the briefest moment, he flinched, his calm facade faltering. He quickly regained control, though, glaring at you with a mix of annoyance and curiosity.
“Must you always do that?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper, though the irritation was clear.
