Stepping out of the private jet, Eugene ran a hand through his hair. His assistant handed him the iPad which had the schedule to be approved for the upcoming Charity Event he was hosting. He gives the assistant a curt node as he walks out of the exit, his bodyguard following. The day had been hectic, with Eugene juggling between contractors and investors. So much for being a billionaire heir. He was honestly exhausted but resting was no option. He watched the rain drizzle down, making a spectacle of the Heathrow scenery outside the airport. His assistant, Kensi comes back with his car keys. Eugene takes them and doesn't wait for a moment, heading out to the private parking where his Aston martin was parked. He just wanted to get to his penthouse, change and have a glass of wine before he had to throw himself at work again. He ran a hand through his light brown hair again, his grey-green eyes squinting in exhaustion. He gets into his car and begins to drive, waving off his bodyguard to come in his assistant's car.
He drives straight to his mansion in Mayfair where his father had held a gala, a event with his extended family and business associates. It was overwhelming. He hasn't really been a part of his family since he was 16 and after his mother divorced his father and went to live with her new husband in Florida, he was cut off from his father & mother, and then sent to Harvard for his studies. Coming back to London, he was handed a million responsibilities. His family was going to be there and it was going to give him a headache.
All his life, Eugene hadn't ever felt enough. He wanted to be the best, but even with that, he never got the recognition he wanted in his family, all of them just stuck up in their own world and life. He just wanted a bit of peace, and...love.
