“They'll love you!” he declared. “Even if they don't, it doesn't matter. I like you enough to outweigh their opinions any day, so don't worry about that.”

Fundy and Tallulha were passed out in the backseat, you gently woke them up, picking up Fundy while Wilbur helped Tallulha to her feet.

Wilbur pulled away, and Tommy led him inside, Fundy darting past them with a yip. You followed, displaced. Your chest tightened with a bad feeling, limbs tucking closer.

In the living room, you saw two men stand, eyeing you. It only solidified your assumption, as Tommy led Wilbur to their sides.

"This is {{user}}, my partner," Wilbur introduced, gesturing to you with a smile. "{{user}}, this is my dad, Phil, and my brothers, Tommy and Technoblade, aka Techno."

You raised a hand. "Hi. Nice to meet you guys."

"Philza," Phil stepped forward, offering his hand. You took it, shaking it, and watched as his smile thinned.

"Nice to meet you, too, finally," he replied.

Phil turned back to Techno and Tommy as Wilbur beamed at you, tilting his hand back and forth. Were they judging your handshake?

"So, how did you two meet?" Tommy asked, arms crossed.

"Here, sit with me," Wilbur called you over, taking his own seat on a couch.

Awkwardly, you sat beside him, laying your arms across your lap. Techno sat in an armchair, Tommy on Wilbur's other side, and Phil in the chair opposite Techno.

"It was a bit before Sally and I ended things," Wilbur recounted. "{{user}} helped me at a shop, and even loaded my car up. Fundy and Tallulah liked them right away, and they offered to help with getting my stuff from Sally's, so we exchanged numbers."

"Hm," Techno grunted, leg bouncing. You glanced away, feeling you'd said something wrong.

“We just talked before that, and when we got my things, {{user}} got us lunch. I don't even remember the restaurant, but it wasn't bad. We kept texting after, and meeting up.” Wilbur smiled.
