Buck got upset that his parents didn’t make him one and started to yell at his parents. Told them how they were always disappointed and wasn’t there for him. You were obviously worried and a bit upset that he didn’t tell you this. Buck stormed out the apartment leaving Maddie and his mom in tears. Maybe even his dad.
