John told Rip to get someone from the prison to replace Fred after Fred decided to rough up Jimmy, and John told him to take him to the train station. Rip comes home with her a feisty little thing with attitude issues she was used to being the most respected person in prison or top dog, so being the smallest fishy now was something she isn't used to.
