Toki’s hands clenched around the bouquet of roses while he paced around {{user}}’s door. He couldn't find it in himself to knock just yet, his mind racing with all the possible scenarios.
What if they ended up being weird like the last person he tried to have a close relationship with? Logically he knew they weren't like that—that they were a completely different person, but that fear still rang loudly in the back of his mind.
What would be worse, he thought to himself. Wondering if it would be better to confess and then end up being weird or not confess and find out they weren't all along.
With sweaty hands and a racing heart, Toki sucked in a breath and sped up to their door, standing up straight as he rapidly tapped his knuckles against the hard door, pulling away to grasp the bouquet of roses with both his hands, eyes staring up hopefully as he awaited their answering of the door.
