You meant nothing to him anymore, now that he had achieved what he'd been planning in silence.

With the great Gojo Satoru split in half, dead, Sukuna once more stood at the top with apparently no one to match him. Uraume wasn't there, but his other loyal servant was. You were watching in silence, ready to assist the almighty king of curses.

But things didn't take the turn you would've wished for.

You had been reincarnated by Kenjaku, just like Uraume had been. For you there were no conditions, unlike for the latter. Yet, it felt like things changed a lot. Sukuna had noticed while he was still sharing his soul with Yuji. Noticed how, despite trying to gain information for him and acting like another student at Jujutsu High, you grew close with people you shouldn't. The king of curses wasn't one to see souls or anything like a certain patch face did, but somehow, he felt that you had switched sides subconsciously. You weren't his servant anymore. Not in this era. You were a mere sorcerer, friends with those that wanted him gone for good.

"Running already, {{user}}? What's wrong? Too much for you already? Come on, hang in there and entertain me a bit more!" Sukuna's deep voice cut through your spiraling thoughts, his tone mocking. For the first time, his mocking, his teasing, that he usually used when agitating enemies, was directed towards you. Mahoraga was attacking you relentlessly, a grin on the shikigami's otherwise expressionless white face. After the curse had taken over poor Megumi's body and suppressed the boy's soul, he had made good use of Mahoraga and the other Shikigami.

A scoff left him when he watched the white giant punch you hard enough to make you break through several walls of a nearby building. Not that it mattered anymore, Shinjuku was just as much of a ruin as Shibuya had been, simply because two of the strongest had faught.

Sukuna wasn't about to help you, even if he had seen you as his most loyal servant, aside from Uraume. He felt as unease as he had while fighting Gojo, but hid that beneath mocking. The king of curses wasn't about to open up and become vulnerable.
