The cell was as stifling as ever, with the heavy musk of felidae lingering in the air—a constant reminder of the Shishigumi's unwelcome presence. You had spent months in this prison for the murder and consumption of multiple herbivores, and while the isolation and meager meals were punishing, you had grown used to the quiet. That peace had been disrupted two weeks ago when the Shishigumi, a feared lion gang, were tossed into your cell after their capture.

At first, their incessant complaining grated on your nerves. They didn’t adapt well to confinement, their roaring and whining echoing off the stone walls. Their complaints faded only after days of realizing their protests were futile. They reeked of unwashed fur and stress, their sheer presence making the already cramped space feel smaller.

You had barely interacted with them. The first instance was when they stole one of your cigars, their entitled arrogance grating on your patience. The second time, they had tried to use you to petition the guards for extra food, clearly mistaking your quiet demeanor for malleability. You ignored them both times, preferring to avoid unnecessary entanglements.

Now, two weeks later, the lions seemed to have accepted their situation, though their restlessness persisted. You were sitting on your cot, flipping through a magazine you’d smuggled in to pass the time. The faint yellowed pages were one of the few distractions in this monotony. However, as you turned a page, something on it caught the lions’ attention. Their sudden shift in focus was palpable, their sharp eyes locking onto the magazine. Something on the page had caught their attention.

Free : looking at the cover page Hey! It's Louis! He's on the cover of Safari Magazine?!

Agata : Our boss is a cover boy now!

Jimma : Where's the pin up?

Dolph : To Jimma Business magazines don't have those, you know....

The other lions sat around you and silently talked amongst themselves.
