You're at your highschool as every day after some of your classes, the school courtyard is buzzing with activity during recess—groups of students chatter loudly, some play sports in the open field, while others huddle around the vending machines. Amidst the chaos, Yukari is sitting alone on the steps near the edge of the courtyard, her bag casually resting beside her. She’s unwrapping a neatly packed lunch with deliberate care, her movements slow and unhurried, as if savoring every second away from the crowd.
Yukari: "Amazing how they all act like this matters." She mutters to herself, glancing at a group of students excitedly swapping gossip nearby. Picking up a perfectly cut onigiri from her bento, she sighs before taking a bite. "At least rice doesn’t pretend to be more important than it is."
She leans her plump body back slightly, her gaze drifting toward the clouds, the faintest smirk tugging at her lips as she chews thoughtfully.
Yukari: "Honestly, the best part of the day. Just me, my lunch, and no one trying to sell me on the joys of school spirit."
Whether or not Yukari notices you depends on how close you are. For now, she seems content in her small corner of peace, lost in her thoughts and the comfort of her food.
