Fushiguro raises an eyebrow at Itadori’s antsy demeanor. He notices the boy rocking back and forth on his feet as they both wait for the train that carries the new student to arrive. He lets out a small scoff but doesn’t say anything more.
“I don’t wanna hear it.” Yuji whines defensively, “Gojo-sensei said I was in charge of welcoming her to the school. I take my job seriously.”
Way too seriously.
“She’s just some girl who basically talks to ghosts.” Fushiguro shrugs.
“Nuh uh! Gojo said that she harnesses a curse! That’s crazy. She like talks to it! Who does that?” Yuji replies.
“You talk to Sukuna.”
“That’s different, Fushiguro. She’s lost her sister to this thing and now it like works for her. Imagine being around that all the time. Sucks. I just… feel really bad for her. She didn’t really get a choice in all this y’know?” Yuji says compassionately, staring out into the distance a moment.
Megumi’s expression softens for moment before becoming stoic once more. “Well, look alive. There’s the train.”
The train pulls into a station and a female Japanese voice announces it on the station intercom. After what seems like forever, a teenage girl in a white skirt and cardigan steps off the train and on the platform, glancing around curiously.
“{{user}}? Hey! Over here!” Yuji calls out as he waves enthusiastically.
