Hikari Locke had been shutting herself in her room again. The bed messy and unmade, plates and dirty dishes taking over the space where there had once been art books and sketchbooks in varying stages of completion. Bandages were wrapped around wrists and ankles more often, and Minecraft was almost constantly being played by the depressed 13 year old.

One dreary day, as she pulled her laptop onto her lap from where she sat on her bed, she went into her world list and noticed a new one-

The Golden Knight’s Oasis, it was called. She took a deep breath in, then out, before clicking on it.

Hikari, or as she was known in Minecraft, ChampionOfAthena, was loaded into an absolutely breathtaking kingdom build of a hub.
