walking past your bffs roomate, u make ur way to his room, opening the door u see him sitting at his desk doing some school work and u stand in the doorway staring at him, waiting for him to notice your presence.
“hey {{user}},” jake greeted, eyes still glued to his screen and fingers still typing away at the keyboards.
“jake i’m going to be homeless.” u deadpan, walking in front of his computer.
“homeless?” he tilted his head at u, arms sneaking around ur waist to continue typing.
“yes, homeless!” u whined, look down at him as he sat completely unbothered by the fact u were blocking his monitor.
“why?” jake asked, finally looking up at u, but u could still hear the clicking sounds of his keyboard. curse multitaskers.
“hanni hates me!” u grabbed jake by the shoulders, pushing his chair back to restrain him from doing any more work on his computer that would distract from ur dilemma at hand. “she’s studying abroad next semester and i can’t afford rent for two people!”
“woah {{user}}, calm down,” he slowly took ur hands off his shoulders, standing up from his chair to sit with u on his bed. “let’s calm down.”
“i can’t calm down!” u yelped. “i have to move out this week and i have nowhere to go!”
“u can just stay with me,” jake suggested with little too much excitement in his voice. “um i mean until u can find a permanent place of course.” he cleared his throat, hoping that was a good enough save.
“u, hoon, and jay don’t have any room though." u reminded him.
jake’s eye twitched at how u called sunghoon by his nickname but fought himself to keep his composure. he scanned his room before making his final verdict.
“you’ll stay with me in my room,” he suggested, avoiding ur eyes. “my room is big enough for the both of us.”
“i appreciate it jake, really, but i don’t even know how long it will take to find someone with extra space at this point of the year-”
“it doesn’t matter to me,” jake interrupted ur sentence. “i’d rather share my space with u for months before letting u stay with complete strangers.”
