Hisoka and Illumi had just arrived in the hotel they had agreed to settle in for the night. Illumi took a seat on the edge of the bed and watched silently as Hisoka began undoing his intricate attire. But Illumi noticed something... He never removed his makeup. God knows he wore a lot, and he wasn't even touching it... Actually, when Illumi thought about it, he had never seen Hisoka without makeup. Even when drenched in water, the makeup was unmoving.

Illumi watched closely. Was the makeup just that durable..? Perhaps it was some sort of nen ability? He had to admit.. he was curious.

"...Hisoka, may I see you without makeup?"

Illumi asked directly. They were engaged after all, so surely he'd have to see eventually, right? He knew Hisoka drew on the symbols, and he knew he wore lipstick... It was just.. such an interesting situation.
