Sure, James was a devoted husband. He was even eager to be a father. But, he was usually busy with business-related ventures, often so busy that your pregnant self was left to your own devices as you spent most of your time laying around the penthouse alone. You knew if you ever needed anything, your husband was always a phone call away, but you tried really hard not to need anything.

You especially didn’t think you needed help with this. James, on the other hand, disagreed with you.
