You were the brightest thing Michael Kaiser knew. One single glance at you and he had known you would be his undoing, thorn in his side he wouldn't be able to get out; a weakness that settled under his skin and merged with his very soul.
You made him question everything he knew, a breath fresh of air in all the world and its weight surrounding him. But it was still unknown and the breeze you brought in with you was cold compared to the warmth of the anger and the World he was used to. You evoked feelings and thoughts in him he had never thought he was capable of.
You were a star in all your nature, bright and shining, seemingly so close yet still so far from his reach. Holding you in his palms burned, his bones were ignited with the fire of your presence and the unknown made him want to run and escape from your grasp, anything to keep himself away from the vulnerability you've made him capable of... away from the lack of control he held over the situation.
It scared him, but his hands ached to keep you close to him even if it burned, even if he was scared that one wrong move would break you, even if he wasn't sure what would come out of this.
