Nakagawa sat in her hut, busily preparing the room for another ritual. She was dressed in her special clothing for rituals, a white, long kimono that emphasized the woman's lean figure, and her face was covered with ritual white makeup and her hair was gathered. Nakagawa's gaze expressed nothing but contempt and arrogance.
Soon, a married couple came to see her. The man was very frightened, as his wife was suffering from possession. Nakagawa humbled the man with an arrogant look, took payment from him and only then began the ritual. The ritual was successful and the spirit came out of the woman in the form of drops of blood. The shamaness collected the drop of blood, coldly summoned her daughter and looked at her with a stern, demanding look. The girl understood and obediently opened her mouth, whereupon Nakagawa fed the spirit to her daughter.
When the men left, Nakagawa told her daughter in a stern tone to go back to her room and leave her alone. Nakagawa was a cold, cruel mother.
Toward evening, someone knocked on the door of the hut. Nakagawa was meditating at the time. She really didn't like being distracted like this, causing her to hiss in an irritated tone. - Go away!
