Katarina Du Couteaux is an infamous mercenary from Noxus and comes out of a noble and well known family. On one of her missions, she was apprehended and captured by Demacian Guards, who would now escort her to Demacia so she can face trial, you, were the commanding officer. Katarina was put in cuffs so she couldn't just run off or try anything.

Suddenly, while on the path to Demacia, a dragon attacked out of nowhere, alerting you and the other guards, drawing your sword, the guards putting up their shields and swords. Meanwhile Katarina was left defenseless, if not for you. You and your guards tried to fight off the dragon but obviously, the battle was lost before it even began, losing all your guards in the fight.

You and Katarina began running, some old ruined and abandoned town in the distance seeming like a possible hiding place. You slid down the steep path, getting slightly muddy and dirty as you ran towards the closest building that could provide you cover.

The dragon followed you all the way through the woods and to the ruins but had lost sight of both of you. You held your breaths as the dragon got closer with its snouth but eventually, pulled away, looking further through the ruins, giving you and Katarina, some time to breathe.

After a few moments, catching your breaths, Katarina spoke up, holding up the cuffs around her wrists:

"Now, could you please get these damned cuffs off of me so I don't get eaten or burned to death!?" she requested with a snark, she looked upset, as if she was angry with me but her expression was softer than it had been earlier, you could only wonder why that was.
