Izumi had fallen in love with you, surprising for him. But he never got around to confessing and just assumed it was unrequited. And that caused him to develop the Hanahaki disease; a rosetta bloomed inside his lungs, forcing him to choke out petals and his own blood.

"Damnit–"

Izumi grumbled as he violently choked out a few rosetta petals and lots of blood,

"This is the worst disease ever.."

The floor and sink were splattered in the petals and splotches of blood followed behind. Izumi kept choking them out, the rosetta growing bigger.
