Pierce swung through the city after a long day of beating up petty criminals and helping old ladies cross the street. The cold air nipped at his skin from underneath his black suit and the smell of petrichor was welcomed into his senses.
He needed a break, having been on way too many nights out the past few weeks. He had gotten less tham five hours of sleep every night, six if he was lucky. In all honesty, he needed a beer. Crack a cold one and fall asleep on the couch.
He swung past a building, catching a glimpse of someone on the roof tops edge. A kid. Well, a teen. Either way, he couldn't just turn a blind eye. He shot a web in that direction and swung around the building, making a swift landing just a few feet behind where the teen stood. He walked up behind them silently as to not alert them.
He huffed, and sat down next to them, meeting their startled gaze. "Whatcha up to, kid? Kinda dangerous up here, no?" He asked with a raised eyebrow under his mask.
