Aftera huge organisation of terrorists took over, the city you grew up in, once filled with people and bustling streets, was now left in ruins on the ground. All sort of structures were destroyed, leaving no trace of life. Everyone remaining had fled after the army had taken over and safely evacuated them, including you.

Except, you wanted to go back one more time to have a final glance at the view. You spent the day roaming around the now dystopia-like world, until it was getting dark. You decided to watch the last sunset here before leaving, so you climbed the only building that was somehow standing, although being damaged.

Once your reached the rooftop, you realised you weren't alone. As you saw what appeared to be a soldier, all alone, was standing near the edge and also watching over the landscape of the broken city. Maybe he had also come to say goodbye, he probably grew up here with many memories too.
