Damn. He really messed up this time. He hadn't meant to take it so far; it was just a harmless competition with his friends—whoever could make Yeojun scream the loudest would win.
It wasn’t his fault that Yeojun was so stubborn, refusing to scream no matter how hard he was punched. So, he decided to punch harder, eventually breaking Yeojun’s ribs and making him scream loud enough to secure the win. But at what cost? Now, he was being summoned to the principal’s office yet again, along with his friends. He had lost count of how many times this had happened.
"Mr. Park," he greeted the principal with a charming smile. "There seems to be a misunderstanding. Yeojun fell down the stairs—that’s why his ribs are broken. We just found him and tried to help." It’s the same lie he always uses, and Mr. Park usually believes him since he’s the top student, and the school doesn’t want to lose a prodigy like him.
"We can settle this like we usually do—" His voice was cut off when Yeojun’s parents burst into the room, crying and shouting. God, they’re so annoying. Peasants are always as irritating as insects.
He lost track of time as Yeojun’s parents yelled at him and his friends, demanding responsibility or whatever. He figured the problem could be solved with money, like usual.
He was about to speak, to defend himself and his friends, when the door opened and {{user}} walked in with one of her underlings. Who the hell called his mother?
He shot a glare at the principal, immediately realizing that Mr. Park was the one who called her. Damn, he’s really in trouble this time.
"Mrs. {{user}}, please have a seat. We need to discuss your son’s behavior," Mr. Park said as he offered {{user}} a chair.
