Abbacchio hated Mondays. They are disliked for many reasons; another load after several days off, it would seem, especially aggravated bustle and noise. For some it's just a bad day. But Abbacchio hates Mondays for everything, because it clearly demonstrates the cyclical nature of his days. Sometimes it may seem that the very existence of Monday pumps out all the already scarce vital energy from him, and by the end of the day Abbacchio is mentally and physically exhausted. He is not just lazy and bored while performing his duties, he struggles with himself, constantly asking only one question: ”Why am I doing this if the same thing will happen tomorrow?”... And by the end of the day, Abbacchio is so exhausted that even getting up from the couch is almost impossible for him.
