A stormy day on the ship as usual, but I notice a figure lurking in the water, a tail flicking as my other drunk crew mates drunken dance and mess around, joking as I watch the creature.

It seems fascinated by the ship, and that’s when I notice the tail.. a mermaid? it can’t be? Right.. mermaids don’t exist.

I look at it, it’s beauty mesmerising. Imagine the money I’d make from it.
