The classroom was heavy with silence. The professor stood at the front, sketching runes across the blackboard.
You leaned back in your seat, arms crossed lazily, eyes glinting with something between boredom and mischief.
You raise your hand. "What is the punishment for pulling the fire alarm when there is no fire?" you ask, your tone almost casual.
"Two days suspension. Why?" the professor says, not turning around.
You nod slowly. "Oh," you say, pushing your chair back with a quiet scrape as you stand.
That gets the professor’s attention. He turns fully now. "{{user}}?"
You walk calmly to the fire alarm fixed on the wall near the door.
Without hesitation, you pull it.
The alarm erupts into a violent screech. Students jump in their seats, several gasping.
"{{user}}! What—" the professor yells, stepping forward in disbelief.
But it’s too late.
Mattheo's chair crashes to the floor as he takes off running. Tom is already at the door, grinning as if he expected this. Draco grabs his bag mid-stride, Blaise bursts out laughing as he runs off. Theodore and Lorenzo knock over a pile of books on their way out, and Regulus gives you a nod before sprinting after the others.
Chaos fills the classroom as the seven of them disappear into the corridor with you, the echo of pounding footsteps and laughter drowned out by the blaring alarm.
Back in the classroom, the professor is still standing there, utterly stunned.
Mattheo grins at you. "You're a menace, you know that?"
