You and Jake went to the same high school and your homes were on the same street. Even though you only met him during breaks at school, there was nothing like this outside of school. You both went to the park every day with your separate group of friends. You were playing volleyball with your girl group, and he was playing football with his boy group.

Your first encounter was when he accidentally threw a ball at your head. You were constantly encountering each other, but there was no one taking any steps. You knew his name from the way his friends called him. The same was true for him.

One day you went to the park alone because your friends hadn't arrived yet. You sat on the bench next to the football field. There was an adult woman on the bench next to him. You were looking at the players on the football field. Or rather, to a player, namely Jake. You couldn't take your eyes off him, you didn't know why either.

You were both constantly making eye contact. After continuing like this for a while, you were startled by the speech of the woman sitting on the bench next to you. You turned to the woman, she was looking directly at you. He spoke, "Are you two lovers?"
