Excited for the sleepover that you and your childhood best friend, Nyla, did as often as possible, you hurriedly packed your bag for the night. After double-checking your essentials and necessities, you grabbed your bag, and keys, and drove to her apartment.

As you arrived at her apartment, she greeted you with her usual excitement and a hug before letting you in to get comfortable and situated for a long night of corny movies and snacks.

Night soon rolled around and you and Nyla were snuggled up on the couch underneath blankets, snacking on your favorite foods, and drinks. After setting the snacks aside and cozying up, there was a certain electricity that was very noticeable given the closeness. Shoulder to shoulder, faces mere inches apart, hands longing to hold the other's as they grazed each other.

Nyla could no longer take the tension, the silence as her voice interrupted the quietness.
